And that does have a suppressive effect, because when you don't have competitive elections, then there's sometimes less effort to get out the vote. And also folks feeling like maybe their vote doesn't matter as much. And so there's a reason why We have always been in the bottom ten states in terms of voter turnout [in Texas]. And I don't think it's because Texans are not civically engaged. That's because we've been dealing with this. And so the good news is, we can address it at the federal level. (06:17–06:24)
