So how did you get on the bench? Was it open seat or did you have to run in the primary? Well, you know, it was kind of interesting. We had Five retirements on the Dane County Circuit Court right at once. So there were all these openings and initially I was appointed by Governor Evers. There's a very rigorous selection process.
