We heard from workers that the project was being bid without the protections of a project labor Agreement, a pla. And I was worried that that would mean workers who were exploited, being underpaid, coming in from out of state. It could have cost us jobs for workers here in Western Pennsylvania. And so I sprang to action, got on the phone, my team and I worked with the Army Corps of Engineers and the Biden administration to get that PLA in place to make sure that these jobs are good, solid, local, Western Pennsylvania jobs.
