The Europeans have mostly said that they hope we will de escalate and return to negotiations. It is unusual for us to go to war with only one ally alongside us but This is a war that the United States and Israel have launched together. In every previous war of any significance in the Middle east and elsewhere we've had dozens of allies in the fight alongside us and often either congressional explicit authorization, UN authorization or both.
