I know that Secretary Rubio, Senator Rubio, was well aware that we are overstretched and that If our adversaries, which principally includes China, Russia, North Korea and Iran, see us as overextended and incapable of meeting our commitments, we are at risk of them taking bold action against us. I do think that Senator Rubio was more inclined towards muscular foreign policy than I was. I see the risks in this moment in opening a new broad spectrum war with Iran. (06:44–07:06)
