This proposal, if approved by City council, will generate $192 million over five years to restore jobs for the School District of Philadelphia and provide access to the quality public education that our children deserve. Donna Cooper and Hillary, we did the math. This would be the largest recurring new local revenue source for children and schools since the sales tax and the cigarette tax were enacted for our city. It's going to create economic mobility for people who need it and put folks on a path to self sufficiency. I need you to know that I think our children are worth the fight. (25:20–25:36)
