The Cedar Rapids Police Department is a prime example of the great work that law enforcement does to solve cold cases. But most states also have a cold case unit at the state level. And now Iowa does too. Since I took office, we have prosecuted two cold cases in the Attorney General's office. Just weeks ago, our office prosecuted a case from 2012 over the murder of Kenneth Carl Gallmeyer. Last year, we prosecuted 16 murders overall and we are not stopping there. (50:49–50:55)
