And as a prosecutor, nothing weighs heavier on my heart than a family left in the dark or a murderer walking free. And I promised on the campaign trail back when I ran for attorney General that we would create a unit that is dedicated to solving cold cases. And I'm glad to say today that we've delivered on that promise. My office's new cold case unit investigates unsolved murders and works to promote and provide families with some long overdue answers.
