We met with county with the county and we issued a disaster proclamation after the first round of flooding. Unfortunately, since then we have been hit again with multiple flooding incidents which have continued to affect our communities. Since August 16, just three days ago, we have had over 5,612, 311 calls. All of those calls reported damage to basements. Chicagoans recovering from one flooding incident have found themselves having to start all over again. (06:57–07:07)
