We got to doj, and we didn't have any resources to test these kits. I couldn't just take them and Drop them off at the crime lab. So we had to get the resources. So We applied for and got grant money from national organizations who shared this interest in getting these kits tested. that provided us grant money. And we did something that has not been really done before. We did this on a statewide level. Cities like the city of Detroit took it on as a city level. (02:39–02:46)
