So when our schools get things right, they can help all our kids to thrive. But let's be clear. Our schools have struggled mightily in recent years through the challenges of the pandemic, through budget cuts by the Adams administration, through increases in mental health, challenges in homelessness, in chronic absenteeism, and with recruiting and retaining teachers.
