So if you look at a world in terms of war and peace issues, this issue of climate change is of enormous consequence. Our task is clear. To avoid the worst effects of climate change, We must dramatically reduce global greenhouse gas emissions by transitioning aggressively away from fossil fuels and towards sustainable sources of energy. The challenge that we face is far too significant for us to equivocate. Bottom line here is we need to transform our energy system away from fossil fuel into energy efficiency and into such sustainable energies as wind, solar, geothermal and other sustainable technologies.
