To answer your question, it is totally absurd and embarrassing that the United States of America, the richest country on earth, is the only major country not to guarantee health care to all people as a human right. The function of insurance companies is not to provide health care. It is to make a lot of money. And they do make a lot of money. Drug companies make an enormous amount of money. And it saddens me very much that we have a system which everybody recognizes is broken, it is dysfunctional, it is enormously complicated. (45:42–45:49)
