Combating human trafficking and child exploitation should be a bipartisan issue, but I will tell you, Republicans will lead the way. We must also ensure that the Human trafficking hotline is operating properly and effectively and constantly. Last year our subcommittee found that some third party tips were not being reported to law enforcement. This is not related to victims who self report.
