After politicians have been minimizing the need for police and cutting funding, we must acknowledge the simple truth that they are just plain wrong, deadly wrong. They set us back, and we must now return to actually fighting crime. Let's remember what Mayor David Dinkins did when he took office and we had a crime problem. (04:55–05:11)
