And these authorizations and the support of Congress is clearly on a bipartisan basis, a reflection of the spirit of this committee. The projects being zeroed out by the Trump administration are not just local efforts and local concerns. They protect some of the most high risk regions for catastrophic flooding in the nation. So I think it's critical that the Army Corps and the administration understand the depth and the significance of my concern about my constituents, how they're being treated when it comes to life saving flood infrastructure.
