Where we are right now is we live in a country where masked armed men operate with impunity, kidnapping people off of our streets and deporting U.S. citizens to countries that they've never been to. We have immigrants who are showing up as the law requires, and obliges them to immigration courts, and they're getting disappeared from there. And, you know, it doesn't impact a lot of folks in this room, I'll say, because I'm looking around the room and there's not a lot of brown people in here and I'm not going to be shy about that.
