And The data consistently show that work based learning improves job placement, helps employers recruit, effectively encourages graduates to put down roots, and frankly sets people up for success in their careers. For far too long, students interested in state government internships have had to navigate a decentralized, hard to find system, agency by agency, with no central resource, no unified promotion, no coordinated support even for supervisors who are trying to make these programs successful.
