Here in New York City, we have a legal requirement of balancing the budget at every moment that we introduce it, whether it be the preliminary budget, the executive budget, or the adopted budget. And We inherited a fiscal deficit of about $12 billion when I took office. The actions we took reduced that $12 billion to about $7 billion.
