Like too many other first responders and survivors, Danny tragically passed away due to a 911 related illness. We are together today to honor the 36 FDNY members who have passed away from 911 related illnesses over the past year. and to rededicate ourselves to the enduring work of making New York City worthy of each and every one of their memories.
