Our proposal is to raise the top state corporate tax rate to match that of [New Jersey], 7.25% here in New York to match theirs of 11.5%. That's a tax that applies to the topmost level of profitable corporations. We're talking about their profits, millions of dollars, and it would raise $5 billion just in doing so. (29:14–29:32)
