Because when that surgeon leaves Louisiana, it doesn't just hurt his family, it hurts every little kid. In Louisiana, who needs a competent surgeon to help save lives. And unfortunately, the Louisiana legislature didn't see it that way. And now they've lost one of the critical care providers that the state had in place because of their bigotry.
