And, you know, when you think about the premise, you know, somehow it's controversial, that America's resources should advance America's interests, I think, you know, that's long overdue. So when Secretary Rubio came in and started looking at, you know, USAID felt they were so autonomous that they didn't even need to respond to the Secretary of State. They certainly didn't respond to Congress. They would come, give us information, but they would continue on autopilot doing the things that they felt were important, regardless of what the executive branch told them, regardless of what strings were attached on Ledge branch money.
