To me, that is evidence that the White House, the President, Stephen Miller, Secretary Kristi Noem and others are essentially targeting U.S. citizens and using Border Patrol and ICE agents as their tools to do that. They want to crush dissent. They are doing everything they can to silence voices. And having this prohibition in the bill would have meant they would have had to abide by that law and not go after U.S. citizens. (07:41–07:49)
