Veronica Escobar and Eric Swalwell Honor January 6th Heroes

Published | Video Starts at 00:59

And this plaque is the bare minimum that Congress can and should do to honor these heroes. And our debt to them goes way beyond this plaque. Just so that you all know what they've had to endure. Members of law enforcement who were there that day on January 6th had to retire, who can no longer do the work that was their livelihood, have also been denied their full benefits and have some have had to resort to GoFundMe accounts in order to pay their bills and support their family. That should be despicable to all of us. So when Republicans say they back the blue, why is it that they just back some of the blue? (00:59–01:24)
