What's the difference between fighting terrorism and fighting regime change wars? What does that mean? I'm glad you asked because there is a vast distinction. Whether we like it or not, We have terrorist groups in different parts of the world. Those who attacked us on 911 in this country, who threaten the safety and security of the American people. We need to make sure that we defeat those threats so that our people can be safe. My opposition to regime change wars comes from not only my personal experience, but looking throughout history at what the consequences of those wars are. (06:41–06:51)
