… a rubber dinghy boat, up against an armada of naval warships, wildly outgunned and out resourced and really unable to, to have that fair platform even on a debate stage. I think in most debates I had a total of 6 minutes of time total to speak to the American people. and so learned some pretty important lessons about our democratic process and how a lot of decisions were being made behind the curtains about who to feature in those debates, who to kind of silence and put push off into the corners.
