Across the 25th floor was the Department of Defense office. It's unclear exactly what it was doing there. Building 7 was one of just three buildings that collapsed that day. The collapse of the other two, the Twin Towers got extensive coverage in the 911 report, of course, but Building 7 was almost entirely ignored. It's worth remembering that even on the morning of the 911 attacks, there were very prominent people already doubting whether a plane could take down a steel frame building. (03:39–03:49)
