The subcommittee hears consistently about the loss of wood processing infrastructure in the west and in rural communities across the United States. It's one of the biggest barriers to active forest management. I want to I ask for unanimous consent to enter into the record maps from Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington that show the closure of of more than 430 sawmills since 1990. (00:05–00:15)
