I have Fort Sill Army Post in my district. And I'm all for transitioning from the E3 to the E7. It's a good decision. Should have honestly been done some time ago. But The rate of retirement for those E3s is well ahead of the rate of acquisition [for E7s]. And that's partly just a production problem. It takes a while to get a new aircraft up and running.
