In my career, I always disassociated myself from that when my party did it, always voted to reopen the government on any vehicle that I could. And I'm amazed to see Democrats have now done this. Three times in four months. three times, and they haven't achieved any policy objective when they got it done. I do want to applaud those Democrats that helped us keep most of the government open.
