I chair the Subcommittee for Technology and Modernization for the VA on the Veteran Affairs Committee in Congress. As a freshman, that's something that I'm very proud to be able to chair a subcommittee like that. We've taken on the effort of modernizing the electronic health records at the VA. so that veterans can take their health care more portably. And that's, I think, one of the biggest pieces is allowing veterans to get care close to home in a timely way that meets their needs and meets their schedule as well. (02:35–02:40)
