And so it's really important that we repeal these authorizations. We obtained a vote in both Houses overwhelmingly to repeal the Iraq War authorizations once signed by the President. These will be the first war authorization that's been repealed since the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. that deepened American involvement in the Vietnam War.
