I've deferred my own paycheck until government reopens out of solidarity with the other federal workers. But we need to get back on track and we can do so as soon as the President engages. The issues that are on the table are very plain. We don't want Virginians and Americans health care premiums to dramatically spike up, which they're going to do because of the reconciliation tax bill that the Republicans passed this summer.
