And I wonder what assumptions you are making about the status of birthright citizenship here. Well, look, this particular provision doesn't resolve that. It just relies on U.S. law. And so right now, U.S. law confers citizenship on birth. I think birthright citizenship is a policy that doesn't make sense because it encourages illegal immigration.
