During the entire Biden administration, Mexico had been violating the 1944 Water Treaty with the United States and had stolen over a million acre feet of water from South Texas. The Biden administration would do nothing to force Mexico to comply with the treaty. President Trump, at my urging, threatened tariffs against Mexico, and Mexico immediately complied.
