Remember in 1950, Venezuela had the fourth highest GDP per capita in the world. The United States was first, then Switzerland, then New Zealand, and Venezuela was number four. That's what these communists screwed up. And listen, President Trump is focused a great deal on trying to get US Oil companies to go and invest in Venezuela now to produce the oil. Even though they have proven reserves, their infrastructure has collapsed. The corruption of the communism, they're not producing what they could.
