Since 2009, more than 50,000 Christians have been murdered in the country of Nigeria. I mean, literally, these Christians are being hunted down. Yeah, they absolutely are. Over 20,000 Christian churches and schools have been burned to the ground or otherwise destroyed [in Nigeria]. I mean, this has been mass murder and it is horrific. And so I filed legislation in the Senate to direct the administration to designate Nigeria a country of particular concern and to impose in particular sanctions on the government officials.
