Now, the Public Safety Officers Benefit Program is created within the Department of Justice and in particular the Bureau of Justice Assistance. And it does several things. Number one, It provides death benefits to survivors of officers who've died in the line of duty. And that's something I think we owe, owe their families to say thank you for that. And then secondly, it provides assistance to people who are permanently disabled as a result of in the light of the duty injury. (06:32–06:39)
