But we have to send resources behind that because it's one thing to have your call answered and sort of walk through the crisis, but there also needs to be community referrals you can make afterwards to continue the support. And so Putting adequate funding behind the network of organizations that support 988 and people in mental health and substance use disorder crises is a huge priority for me. and one that I'm fulfilling in my role as a us senator.
