“I will work with anyone to reopen the government and lower Americans health care costs. And I'm not throwing in the towel until we've exhausted everything, every option to make that happen. And that's why I've offered an amendment to extend tax breaks for Americans who buy their insurance through the Affordable Care act for one year. My amendment is as straightforward as it gets.
