But the only other option, really, is to have an appointment process. And we've seen on the United States Supreme Court that there are downsides to appointment process as well. We now have a U.S. Supreme Court that is dominated by right-wing justices who...are willing to do things like overturn 50 years of constitutional protection. enjoyed by its citizens to advance a political agenda.
