It is going to determine the future of our state. It's going to affect the fundamental rights and freedoms of every Wisconsinite. And obviously there are national implications as well. Our state Supreme Court is called upon to resolve disputes involving voting rights and elections and election results pretty much every term, every single year. And, you know, Wisconsin is a swing state and those decisions matter in 2020. I think many of you know that the Wisconsin Supreme Court turned down an effort by Donald Trump's campaign to throw out over 220,000 votes votes in Wisconsin after the election. (43:18–43:32)
