Dane county currently has a number of diversion programs, and those are programs that are trying to identify people who have been charged with a crime who are willing to work on the behaviors that may be underlying their criminal conduct. So in some cases it's substance abuse. It may be that they could benefit from mental health treatment and, you know, just other kinds of needs. (07:03–07:25)
