Black folks and disabled folks and other marginalized groups who have raised the alarm consistently about racial bias and abuse of power. At every stage of that struggle, accountability has been dismissed and our warnings have been ignored. Our immigrant neighbors and our black and our brown folks who are being targeted simply for the languages they speak, for the accents that they might have, for the country of origin that they came, are first called home. Ice is not the Gestapo. It's not anything that is inherently un American. In fact, it is something that is deeply American.
