I think people have paid attention to politics more in the last two years, good, bad, or indifferent, than they ever have before. And what I always said before I ran for Congress was that All politics is local. And you hear that phrase, but truly, people realized it with COVID because you talked about mask mandates in school, virtual school, and nobody really understood who made the rules. And so Covid maybe in a weird way highlighted that. And so now you see people interested in the school board, interested in city council races, and maybe that's a good thing. (19:41–19:55)
