Temporary protective status was the right way, and now we're the ones who are doing it the wrong way. I urge action on this resolution and far more. Our nation must finally help Haiti recover, not just in word, not just through guns, not just through bags of food, but through a comprehensive plan to support that nation. bring it back into stability, and so that eventually those individuals that are here living in America under temporary status can go back to the home that they call home and continue the prosperity of that nation.
