Well, as you just pointed out, I mean, it's basic and fundamental. And we're not only ignoring the very real historical legacy of environmental racism. And I worked for the newly created Office of Environmental Justice under Bill Clinton back in the 1990s. And the fact that we knew even then that this was one of the ways to save the world, it's not shocking. It is further proof of the fascist ideology that undergirds this authoritarian regime.
