I want to give a shout out especially to Representative Perucci who has been a true leader not just here but across the nation when it comes to this type of legislation. Under Utah law, AVIC and its affiliates are prohibited from buying land in our state. We acted swiftly and due to these strong laws and vigilant enforcement, the sale did not Happen. So much coordination goes into keeping Utah lands out of these adversarial hands. (02:25–02:31)
