As someone who's been asked to put my life on the line for our country, we want to know that we're fighting for our families and friends back home against a legitimate threat. That was the problem with Iraq. Right. President Bush made up all these ideas, really. And the administration told a lot of lies about why we should go to war in Iraq. A lot of people thought that it was they had a place their part in 9, 11, which they did not. They said Saddam had WMD weapons of mass destruction, which we did not. (02:16–02:27)
